Typex, geboren 1962, lebt als Illustrator, Comiczeichnert und Maler in Amsterdam. Comics zeichnet er seit seiner Jugend, aber den großen internationalen Durchbruch hatte er 2013 mit seiner Rembrandt-Biografie, die er im Auftrag des Rijksmuseum Amsterdam zeichnete.
